How to get to Cefalu'

Travelling by car
  • From Palermo airport take the Trapani-Palermo motorway (A29) direction Palermo and then continue on the Palermo-Catania motorway (A19), then at Buonfornello join the Palermo-Messina motorway (A20), direction Messina and turn off at the Cefalu' exit. Continue on the national road SS 113 direction Cefalu'
  • From Catania airport take the Catania-Palermo motorway (A19) direction Palermo, then at Buonfornello join the Palermo-Messina motorway (A20), direction Messina and turn off at the Cefalu' exit. Continue on the national road SS 113 direction Cefalu'
  • From mainland Italy, when you arrive in Messina take the Messina-Palermo motorway (A20) towards Palermo and turn off at the Castelbuono exit. Continue on the national road SS 113 direction Cefalu'
Travelling by train
  • From Palermo or from mainland Italy you get off at Cefalu' railway station
  • From Palermo airport take the bus or train to Palermo Centrale railway station, and from there take the train to Cefalu'
  • From Catania airport take the bus to Palermo Centrale railway station and then continue by train to Cefalu'
Transfer option

The nearest airport is Palermo (PMO - Aeroporto Falcone-Borsellino, 107 km) but you can also use Catania (CTA - Aeroporto Fontanarossa, 187 km) which is only half an hour by car farther away.
