2days in a very quiet location, some thing like 'the end of the world', a little difficult to reach through a 4Km small mountain road, but the information supplied on the web site are very precises and efficient. Large room and good service. Great view. M.Guercio is reserved but speaks a fluently english.

Wenn man ein 'Zuhause' im Ausland sucht, ist man hier goldrichtig. Ein kleines Paradies mit Garten Eden aus dem man täglich frische Früchte in großer Vielfalt zum Frühstück serviert bekommt. Die Aufmerksamtkeit und die Zurückhaltung gleichermaßen zeichnet den Vermieter als gorßartigen Gastgeber aus. Ich empfehle mehrere Nächte dort zu verweilen. Beautyful located in the hills above Cefalu Bay. A wonderful view and the warm welcome will make this stay unforgetable. We made a trip for three weeks and we rested in 8 different hotels and B&B's during this time. We paid between 50 € and 85 € per room in September. And after this time we can confirm that Casa Guercio was the best accomodation of all. We are sure we will return one day to Casa Guercio.

Das Bed & Breakfast hat sich als wirklicher Glücksgriff erwiesen. Oben auf dem Berg (Auto erforderlich!) fanden wir nicht nur einen kühlen und sehr ruhigen Platz mit fantastischer Aussicht auf das Meer, sondern auch einen Vermieter, der uns verwöhnte (jeden Morgen frisches Obst aus dem eigenen Garten) und uns viel von Sizilien und seinen Gebräuchen erzählt hat.

Wunderschön gelegenes B&B. Die Aussicht ist grandios. Dafür muss man allerdings 4 km schmale Strasse in Kauf nehmen - aber das ist ja auf Sizilien keine Seltenheit. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sehr sauber.

Das Haus liegt abseits, wir mussten lange suchen. Aber wir wurden belohnt mit Ruhe und einem traumhaften Blick. Es war wunderschön und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht gebucht haben. Auch haben wir kein besseres Frühstück genossen.

Accueuil peu cordial limite! Nous n'étions pas au courant qu'il y avait d'autres personnes qui logeaient à côté de nous. Nous avons été réveillés par ces vacanciers qui arrivaient tard dans la nuit! Les sanitaires sont bons, la chambre confortable. L'environnement magnifique. Le propriétaire doit faire un réel effort pour accueillir les vacanciers. Dire quelques mots en français serait apprécié!

The B&B is located in a big house with a view of the sea. The room is huge, *very* clean (couldn't find a a remote trace of dust!), with minimal, but all the necessary furniture. Bathroom is also great (pretty good size, great shower, and of course, clean). Our host isn't very talkative, but very nice and attentive. He set up breakfast for us outside on the terrasse so we can eat under the sun. The only non-positive thing (not necessarily negative) is that the house is in a small... well it's not even a city... you take the main road coming out (and in) of Cefalu, and there's a small sign indicating the name of the 'town'. You have to drive on a narrow road for what seems forever, with no idea if you are going in the right direction. But the B&B itself if perfectly fine in itself.

Excellent accomodation! Be aware, the accomodation is 7 km far from Cefalu at the hillside, you can go there only by car! But the landlord speaks english and really helpful, breakfast and room were perfect. The surrounding is fabulous.

Our (my wife, a friend, and myself) 4 night stay was fantastic at this family run B&B. The owner, who lives onsite, was extremely friendly, gracious and helpful. Breakfast was terrific with fresh figs, grapes from the property, pastries, and coffee any way you wanted. The B&B location was perfect for those willing to get away from it all.......quiet and with beautiful views of Cefalu from above which we took advantage of as we ate breakfast each morning. The house is newly renovated with all the modern conviences. When we return, we will surely stay at Casa Guercio!

Cefalù è stata la prima tappa di un viaggio di due settimane che mio marito ed io abbiamo fatto in Sicilia nel mese di settembre. Ci siamo fermati a Casa Guercio soltanto due giorni, ma sono stati sufficienti per farci apprezzare tutte le qualità di questo B&B: la splendida posizione sulla collina, la tranquillità, la vista impareggiabile dalla terrazza, la pulizia delle stanze e del bagno ed infine la cordialità e la disponibilità di Maurizio, sempre pronto a risolvere qualunque problema dei suoi ospiti. Vista la stagione, abbiamo anche avuto modo di assaggiare i fichi e l'uva: veramente super!
Grazie Maurizio di tutto e arrivederci al nostro prossimo viaggio in Sicilia!

This place was quite a find. It was waaayy up on the top of a hill backed up to a national park. The views were fabulous. The room turned out to be a spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms. The house was surrounded by gorgeous fruit trees. If you have a car,it's a great place. I'm sure the quoted price might be different if you indicate that you will be using the whole place. It was just two of us ... best to check.

I stayed at Case Guercio in June 2007. Although the furniture in the appartment was kind of simplier than we experienced in other B&B's we visited during our round trip to Sicily, it was more than sufficiently compensated by the beautiful view from the house and terrace to the sea (the house is located in the mountains over the bay). It is about 10 - 15 minutes drive from Cefalu and it can be easily find with the directions from the owner's website (or with the GPS, however, as the owner said, some GPS systems lead you to the route ending nowhere in the fields :o). The owner also speaks quite good English.

We had a fabulous holiday - the views of Cefalu and the Mediterranean from the terrace where we had breakfast were breathtaking, and the fresh figs, grapes and plums picked from the garden every morning were delicious. Marrizzio was an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble for him and he provided guidebooks of the area. I would go back and stay here any time and will be recommending it to my friends!

We stayed at Casa Guercio for just one night but wished that we had the time to stay longer. Casa Guercio is set in a remote hillside location, in a national park and has great views of the surrounding countryside and Mediteranean Sea. It is easy to find if you follow Maurizio's excellent instructions. The bedrooms(3), shower rooms(2), kitchen and lounge are comfortably furnished with most modern conveniences. Breakfast is excellent and the host is very good company. Highly recommended.

La casa e' sulle alture di Cefalu', e il panorama da li specialmente al mattino e al tramonto e' mozzafiato. Maurizio, il proprietario, e' molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliata assolutamente se viaggiate in auto (perche' dovete fare qualche kilometro di strada di montagna, ma arrivati su ne vale davvero la pena). La casa e' grande, si ha un'intero piano a disposizione. Pulitissima.
